    bar at back of engine

i forgot what its call but its the bar that connects to the engine then to the firewall. i was wondering do the LXi's had thicker or stonger ones. any idea?

also does the LXI have better or thinker motor mounts?

They're probably exactly the same. I doubt Honda would waste money designing and manufactuing two sets of engine mounts for two cars that are nearly identical.

I would concur. The horsepower difference between the carbed and FI engine was not so extreme as to warrant stronger mounts.

I replaced my torque strut insulators, and I now I can't move mine, at least not with my hand. My engine was twisting too much when I was at 4k to 6k, even with new mounts, till I replaced mine. Oh, the small one on mine was probably still good, but the larger one, on the engine was beat to shit on mine.
