15 Accord & marvel mystery oil

My dad ran a heating & air company when i was a child used to love watching his annual marvel mystery oil fleet treatment, best I remember after all truck came in for weekend Saturday morning was dedicated to pouring one bottle of it into each cab & kept it running until the last third of bottle he would kill the engine with and let them sit until Monday morning, as hey all were leaving they had to leave one at a time to see for the smoke, Wife's tale snake oil or something to it ? I still remember that sweet smell of the trucks leaving

Interesting. Never heard of it myself, but I'm curious to learn more about it. What was your father's rationale?

ive seen people use Marvel in a few ways.

Old school guys will use it in stuff like the coolant system of flat-head fords to break loose the head bolts.

In the rotary/wankel community i've seen it used to help un-cease rotors (also transmission fluid works)

otherwise most use it like trans fluid to help out the piston rings.

I used to use it to lube air tools, not the best thing for that but worked great on air rachets! Just happened to have the right spout on the can lol
