Questions about Zex system

I see them on ebay all the time.......does anyone have any info on this item? Also I was talking to eric from Ny and here is the question that I asked him
should i get the Zex system or get an sunroof?
the Zex is cheaper than the roof.......

i really want nitrous bad, but i have no experience with it at all, and i really scared i will blow my engine up even with a small 40-50 shot...and i have no idea to hook it up? but i would get a zex kit if i was getting it cuz theyre alot easier hooking up.

a friend of mine hooks up NOs on cars for a living......so every time that i see him i get the whole ZEX talk
and the wonders it would do for my car..........maybe next year
I want an t top sunroof.........or something like that!

if your getting nitrous dont get zex, zex is kids stuff, get a real brand like NX , NOS, or even Venom

my friend has a zex kit with a 100 shot of nos on his lexus, it has this computer module in the engine bay that makes sure the amount of NOS to fuel is correct, and it has a lot of safety features to ensure that it doesnt blow up your motor. So kids stuff? Dont think so, sounds safer to me then hitting the button and praying.

whats wrong with zex really? it doesnt matter if its a NOS bottle or a purple zex bottle being filled with nitrous.... nitrous is all the same....

my opinion about nitrous:

i will eventually get nitrous oxide, but im goin to make my engine as fast as it can go without running nitrous. i only think it should be used for backup, incase your getting to @$$ kicked. too many people use it just to say,"HEY IVE GOT NAWS!". i hate people like that. i think you should only get it once your engine is modified to its peak. use nitrous for a backup.

personally, i'd go with zex, cause if your racin and you want to keep your mind on shifting and whatnot, you dont wanna be pushing buttons. you can set the zex computer to inject the nitrous and whatever rpm you set it at. the kits usually come with a arm/disarm switch so incase you want want it to inject for daily driving just flip the switch and no nitrous.

how much more power did your headers give you? and could you notice the gain? cause i will eventually get dc headers, cause i don't like pacesetter.

a chip is made by venom its a fuel booster chip for higher gas ratio at higher rpm between 3500 and 5000 you feel more horsepower between 15hp to 35 hp gaines are possible its worth the money

basically, the chip reprograms your ecu. how many miles did you have on your car when you put on the nitrous? for our cars, higher mileage cars, it would be a good idea to rebuild the engine before you do something like nitrous. that stuff adds serious miles onto your engine. and i agree, for our cars zex is fine.

could i hook zex up to my a20a1 its pretty built up about the only thing i dont have is a weber carb. my DC Sports Dac already has a port for injection.

Where do you get the chip? I'm sure it is pricey but none the less, where do you get one? Or is it one of those where you send in your ecu and they solder in the chip for you and send it back?
