www.rockauto.com has Moog for $33 and ACDelco for $34 each.
They also have other parts for our cars priced reasonably as well, such as the upper control arms, tie rod ends and various bushings. I know because I just ordered all of this and more for a suspension overhaul. Turns out the clunking sound on every bump was coming from the loose upper ball joint. Also my tie rod ends are extremely loose. I'm replacing the original springs & struts too.
BTW, I recently replaced one lower ball joint. I bought it off the shelf at a local parts place for $22 + tax and got it installed for $10 at the shop in the back.
Nothin' extra
Excellent! Thanks bro.. I just did my tie-rods and they told me the ball joints need a replacing
Thought I should do that before I put on the coilovers![]()
If it's the front upper ball joint, you might as well go the prelude arms with new ball joints route, since you're going to put on coilovers.Originally posted by xbi0s

wheere is everyone getting these cheap ball joints/ they want like 70 bucks for the lower one here
I just bought my new ball joints (lower). The Moog one was $44 (got it as a free upgrade) and the other (TRW?) was only $18.95. They came from a Bumper-to-Bumper, but I priced them similarly at Autozone and NAPA.
Cheers,
Roland
thank you, I know that both moog and trw are top quality suspension parts, for those of you that don't know, a lot of professional suspension repair shops use moog parts. very good quality. excellent reputation. I would never put an unknown suspension part on my car. will check out the pricesOriginally posted by rbeaud
