Its such a shame to see such a clean ride like that get messed up. Hope it doesn't come out to be too expensive to fix.

Oh man...that really blows . I'm sorry that had to happen, especially to such a nice car. If I remember right though, you said you were going to fix it (?), which is great! It doesn't look all that bad from the pics...didn't hit the bumper or anything, so it shouldn't be too hard. How did it happen, if you don't mind me asking?

And who is that sitting in the car? lol

    Good luck with it!

Agghh! That looks a lot like my white coupe! Looks like someone punched it in the eye. Try placing a raw steak on the damage.

I am getting it fixed. ALL the body shops advised I fix it; it is that clean. It is totalled cuz of the price of new parts. I have some used parts and I may look here for some little trim stuff. It runs cool and no leaks, but the frame rack is going to be in effect. Look at the spacing between the fender and door on each side-- it is very close on the passenger side and normal on the driver. It's me in the car and the bumper cover did get a piece broken. A new bumper cover is only $125 from Honda. The freaking marker light is $76! Estimates using new parts is $3600. I could rig it all up ghetto woo WOO style, but I'ma have it fixed right and get an all over and just pay the diff. outta pocket. I can't give up on it. I may need an 88-9 style eyebrow trim piece and grill. I think I got everything else, but watch the marketplace forum cuz they may pop the hood and say I nned more stuff. Thanks for the nice words.

Oh yeah, my buddy wrecked it on the ice. He rear ended a Pathfinder. He said he would have hit the whole front end, but he turned a lil bit and just clipped her left, my right. Since I only had PLPD coverage, his insurance is paying for my car and my insurance is paying for the lady's pathfinder. He's driven it many times and actually used to have an Se-i that he bought from me. Crappy brakes I guess.

have fun fixing it man. After looking at mine, i decided not to and go ahead and find a new shell and transfer all my stuff to another car get the new shell repainted. But u see, in this case its a lotta work less money. But in ur case, not a lotta work (for you) but hella money.

yeah dude you can do it. My first accord was kinda like that, hit in the front corner (the previous owner claimed he hit a building, WTF??? A Building???) and it took me some time to fix it and get it to look right (the headlight buckets took a long time to get right) but it was worth it, the car looked like new after paint, even though it had tons of body work done to it

In my exprience this car handles about as badly on ice as any car can - simply awful. When we had our 93 Escort wagon I found that it was much more forgiving with the slippery stuff. That vintage Escort had Mazda Protege suspension which has a tendency for oversteer. Our cars most definitely understeer which makes them a bitch on ice. You lose steering control very quickly and without ABS you're screwed if you start to slide.

Werd to that. I will tell him that they need to be put back on fa sho!! You guys who are missing them need them on there!! Your car will get rusty under there from water getting in those crevices!! They are about $30 a side new. A lot of places just pitch them when they do a new bumper cover. Mines fin to be transferred on the reazy fa sheazy.

Car is at the Body Shop now (inside storage even!)
