Thank you! All stock except for a Weber carb.
Sweet ride
Does the Weber carb upgrade do anything for your power ? My 85 runs great still with Factory carb
It gives you a slight power boost especially when accelerating. Drove it at 85mph on the highway with both windows down (not the best thing to do) and it has better power than with the stock. Not going to compare it with a throttle body or fuel injected since with carbs you're feeding fuel "manually" I also started to fill up half tank of remaining gas with either mid grade or premium. I don't drive it every day but when it gets warmed up well, it runs like a champ. Again mine is a 4-speed auto 135k miles. If your factory carb is serving you well, keep it. Anyway as long as you're not in California you can do whatever mods you want!
Also 1983 was the last year of the CVCC engine
