    Speakers are great!

My bf made a adapter to put some pretty deep MTX 6 1/2's in the front doors. He just cut out the originals and added two 1/4 inch spacers. Doesn't look too bad. But they are too thick to put the stock grills over. Has anyone put a pair of 4x6's or 5x7's in the front doors without major modification? Cuz then we could put the grills back on. Its gonna be a killer system when we are done. So far we have:
    JVC CD-deck 4X45 (Max power)
Pair of 6000 series MTX 6 1/2's w/ removable tweeter
    To come:
    Lanzar 200 X 2 (Max)
    2 JBL Gt series 10" subs(sealed box)
MTX 50 x2 (max) for the fronts

Edit---- I know this is not an accord, but it was awesome to see my speakers used in this car. It is an awesome honda!!

all you had to do is cut the back plastic of the stock adapter.
the reason you cut them is to fit magnet through.

We did cut out the back of the originals, but we still had to use spacers. Cuz like I said these things are thick! If we didn't, the windows weren't going down. My guy knows how to fix it up.

you might have to use custom grilles or cut the stock ones a little and get creative. As for a 4x6 or 5x7 i think youd be better off with what you have.
