    short ram busted my brakeline!!

    My intake was moving slightly up and down on a brake line for a couple months now and broke a line.I need to make some kind of bracket to keep it more secure,anyone else ever run into this?What did you do for a bracket?

    my intake rubs too I got one of those benders and moved the line alittle then took a silicon hose cut a slit in it and wraped the brake line and zapstraped it sofar so good.

    thanks,I think I'll try to put in some kind of block to hold the intake up,but I think I'll put some tubing on the line for extra protection,I'm just pissed because I'm having monroe muffler fix it cause I'm at work and need it fixed by time I get done working and they'll probably rob me,fuckers!

    What intake do you 2 have? I have a Weapon R intake and it doesn't rub on anything.

    use the hose clamps to secure a "L" bracket to the intake pipe... on the part of the L that is not conected to th intake drill a hole.
    then get a flat bar of aluminum and drill a hole on both ends... one to serure the flat bar near the strut tower and the other to bolt to the L bracket on the intake.

    i cant see paying 170$ for that intake.....
    Mods:
    90/91 CRX Si Wheels on Yokohama's, HP Racing 4'' oval exhaust, Arospeed Coilovers (0-4" drop, slammed at about 3.5" now), Modified Integra Short Ram Intake, Clear Front Bumper Lights(wired on w/ hyperwhite bulbs), Sidemarkers, White Interior Trim(Console, Vents, Handles, etc...), Removed Emblems, Type-R shift knob, Aiwa CD Deck, Sony Xplod 6x9's

    17.06 @ 80.9 mph

    Well neither could I, thats is why I only paid $85 for it, along with an extra filter element. Don't get me wrong, I hate the actual filter itself. Looks like something that came out of Star Wars. I am in the process of getting a K&N cone to slap on there. Also I bougt it before I found out about this board and all the make your own stuff. That pic is probibly from last June.
