You won't have a super easy time finding a head. But every Canadian Accord was non-cvcc, so you don't have to look too far, or know Japanese to find one.
To be honest, I don't think you'll notice a ton of difference between the CVCC head and the non-cvcc version on the same engine. They say those heads bumped compression, but I'm not sure by how much exactly.
There are quite a few B18 swaps out there. It's definitely going to make you more power than even a built EK1. And probably better gas mileage at the equivalent power. Like, if you were able to build an EK to 140hp, it's probably going to be sucking down some gas, not to mention some drivability. I could be wrong though...
Either way, it's going to be work.

Look up DanST Engineering. Doesn't have that listed on his site but send him an email with what you have. I snail mailed him an intake gasket for the a20a1 and he was able to build me an intake for dual Weber dcoe. Took about 3 weeks total from when I email him first. Cost was 235 pounds sterling which converted to 312$ at the time.
Only one out of at least 10 companies I contacted that was willing to build the intake for me and the price was damn good.

Anyone know if you can use and EF head (non-CVCC) on a EK1 (83) block? Would this offer the same improvements as the EL?

Due to the changes made on the EL and EK in 82, i don't think anything will fit except an EL head from the same year.
Damn, that is a steal of a price for a one-off built part like that.
I know right. He can make more though since he has the pattern now though. It's listed on the website. Pics aren't right but it there.

Found an EL head for my car. Thank to Paul over a G1 Prelude form.
