    Clean amp?

I just bought a pair of Infinity 552i and a pair of 605cs reference series, both for $100 Can. I might add. I'm just looking for some suggestions on a 4 channel amp.Clean and powerful.

Those are great choices, i think the best sq for the money can be had with mtx amps, but fosgate and Audiobahn arent really known for their sq like JL and Phoenix gold are.

what about JBL? i've heard good things about those, too.. another one of those things i've heard, but not in a situation to know if it sounds good or not(IE 30 feet away)... i have an old(early 90's or so) sony and it seems to be really clean, and make rated power, but i've seen too many of the new sony's in the trash heap at the local shops... one i saw actually had caught fire!!! lol what fun

sony used to be good long time ago, but they went down the hill.
I know JBL is good, but because i don't have it and i haven't heard them, i am not gonna say bad things about them.

Early early sony amps were pretty good, alot better built and better sounding then they are now, and JBL makes great sub amps but ive never heard their smaller non-sub amps.

yeah... Ive seen lots of bad Xplod decks and subs. I did see one guy I know had an xplod amp (the 1000w one) and it was ok, probably good for the money, it put out good power but wasnt that clean, but whattaya want out of a $200 class D amp?
