I'm looking for photos of Vintage, dealer/factory installed lettering, the kind that goes under the black plastic trim line. Especially if it has the classic 80s "fade line" where there are pin stripes of increasing width to mimic a gradation at a distance. I'll be painting my accord in the next year, and am trying to design a scheme that is appropriately, and perhaps eggregiously 1980s.

Hey Wesley, I'm planning to do something like that on my 83 hatch. I was thinking to just do a decal or paint but still trying to find pictures of 1980s Accords with that on them. Is your 89 a hatch?
It's a sedan, although under the belt line, they're substantially similar.
This is the only one I've found from the second generation and is a 1982 LX. I know I've seen a couple of images of first generation but seem to not be out there. I've seen a few Civic images before with that fading line.
I do like the graphics on that 83. I recall some of the Integras had DOHC, on them, no?
