    Restoration almost complete!

This board's been a little quiet for a while, so I figured I'd share what I've been working on... https://imgur.com/a/8Ilnv

A bunch of work so far, but still some stuff left on the interior to fix up. Previous owner had managed to acquire a brand new old stock dash unopened in the Honda box (apparently he had been sitting on it since the mid 90s!), so I got to replace the old dash which was just blasted by the sun out here in the US southwest. I will never see such an artifact again.

Naturally the first time I take it out on a ~100 mile trip a huge sandstorm rolls in and sandblasts the new paint, but so it goes. It made out okay, far as I can see!

Nice! Super nice score on the dashboard!! I would love to come across an NOS dash for my car... oh man...

Never have seen those louvers before. I have a couple different sets for mine, both are a bit different from that one. Pretty interesting with the curved ends.

Also if you need rubber roof strips, you'll have a lot better luck finding them for a 2g Accord. They fit right in, but don't have the chrome strip down the middle like the 1g. I've yet to find a nice set of the stock roof strips...

Thanks! Still keeps perfect time. The previous owner had dismantled it and repaired the mechanism... this little guy has had a lot of love put into him. Still has the Keihin carb with all of the emissions stuff intact.

I still can't believe it. It's priceless. Even got to install a NOS hood ornament, too!

I have no idea what brand of louvers they are, there is no identification on them. They are definitely made to fit the car, but it took about 4 hours of fiddling, shaving, and riveting to get the rear wiper to clear under them. They work though! And thanks for the tip on the roof trim - I didn't know 2G accord trim will fit. I ended up going with trim from civicgarage.com, so I'll see how well that works.
