What is this part and what does it do? I broke the stem off of the top then I jb welded it back on and broke it again so I currently have it out and the lines it came off of capped. Should I worry about fixing it / getting a new one or am I okay without it. Also, it came from the passenger side and the bigger hose plugs into the air cleaner box and the smaller one ts in with the black box and the egr valve.

I think that had something to do with the idle when you had the air conditioning on on a carb car. Mine gave me fits for a long time and I had it disabled and plugged and never really noticed a difference.

Okay. Well I re glued it and I'm gonna plug it in tomorrow, I haven't noticed a difference so why not. I'm planning on going Weber in the somewhat near future so I'm not too worried about it
