the black box

hey i want to get rid of that black box in my engine bay how the hell can i get rid of it im getting a b16 manifold cani get rid of it if i use the manifold or how can i substute that box its really ugly i want to get rid of it in my engine bay or hide it can any ine help me and oh yea what the hell does it do does anybody got a diagram of it thanks:super:

If you want to keep it emissions friendly i dont think you can loose the box w/o doing some other work. It may be more of a headache im probably gonna keep mine but not nessesary cause its not gonna pass emissions with my turbo setup.
