How did you end up getting hold of him? I would like to get a set of the mount brackets as well.

Good to know we still have that mount option. Thanks for updating.

My apologies for necro'ing this thread but where the heck is this transmission damper located? This is first picture I've ever seen of the stud and yet I can't find it on my car. Am I blind? Am I crazy? Did not all auto cars come with them?

It's an alternative to the OEM front engine mount, it's not a trans mount, but the original part is a Chevy trans mount. Super easy to find, but you'll probably need to weld your own bracket.

I made one out of 1x2 rectangular tubing for the main section and slash cut 1" square tubing for the ears the bolts go through. Basically all the guy that sold them made anyway

Re: NEED oem FRONT ENGINE MOUNT

Oh interesting, I thought it was referencing the little oval "mount" that looks like an exhaust hanger grommet. Rock Auto had one listed for the transmission, but I can't seem to figure out where it goes.

Edit: Specifically I was referring to the photo in post #22 that looks like a stud it might slide on to. I could be seeing it wrong though.
