what have people got for max speed?

I have had my car to somewhere around 145 going down hill one night, but this pic is a normal run, I can get to 130 without a hill and would have done it this time but ran out of room..

Highest I have ever gone is a cool 100MPH. The speed limit on the road was only 45 so I was afraid to hit even 100 let alone anymore. It was running really smooth at 100 so I am sure I could have gone faster. Yet again, I only have 152,000 on my 3g so its not as bad as those guys with 230,000+

Your speedomoter is off. 4th gear @ 6200rpm is 120mph with stock tire height.

Well I'm not to sure on the redline shift point stock is for 4th and 5th. 1st=35mph, 2nd=60mph, 3rd=92mph. The Lx-i tranny is a little less then the DX and LX. Going my the ratio each gear goes up I would say that 4th=126mph and 5th=160mph redlining. I have hit 130mph at 5800rpm riding on 17" rims.

I only took mine up to 90-yet when i am on fourth going into fifth the cars slow down and idles back to 3000 rpm at 75 mph-what is up with that?

Thats sweet dude, I am scared shitless when it comes to taking a picture at above 120. I think my door handle is still imprinted from my girlfriend. She actully tried to break up with me for that one.

I hit 120mph as a eagle talon was trying to pass me and i looked at my tack because it dropped down like it changed gears(got an automatic) and it was askin for more, but I slowed down because I had been driving all the way back from buffalo doing 110mph all the way, when this guy tries to pass.

Coming home from picking up my new wheels last week I hit about 138-139 and my camera wouldn't turn on so I slowed down and came around a corner at about 75 in a 70 and saw 3 state cops sitting on the side of the road. Thank God I slowed down, 140mph ticket wouldn't be too good. I got pulled over anyways for not having my license plate on my front bumper, but it's all good.

ive gone about 100 in the 87 lx auto... I've never pushed it all the way tho... i was at 80 on the highway today in about 30 seconds, and when i eased off of the accelerator, i had a whole nother gear and the overdrive. The only problem was that i ran out of space...I HATE TRAFFIC

115+ in the 88 accord hatchie. the only reason why i stopped going was cause i seemed to be drifiting. but i probably had another 5 mph or so left in her.

120 in the 98 AV6...so far.....

i was in my car with my dad, he had picked me up, and we were on the freeway, with my brother and his friend in his truck, well they were doing 95(ish) and my dad was driving and drove right by them at bout 12o(ish) more like 122mph and thats in a dx with 178,000miles on it! i think it would of gone faster too, he slowed way down to like 80 though, thats with my ass and his, he ways bout 160lbs and i way bout 290lbs but yea it was funny to see me slow old timer push the car like that!
