Hey everybody!
For the past two months I have been building a 1989 Accord LX sedan project car. I bought it for $800 with 97,000 with a bad water pump... which turned out to also include a blown head!
It has been fun and I have done a TON of work to it and learned a lot about slamming cars too. I have built a few cars but have never gone this low and zero offset rims before.
It has been fun!

2.0 Carb. I want to put a bigger carb on it.

Did you fix the blown head yet ? I would need to do mine soon solo and gathering tips (mine is fuel injection though).
Weber 38 will be your best bet. It's quite a bit larger than the stock carb, it's cheap and bolts on with the adapter kit. The 32/36 won't really gain much performance.

I can vouch for that. The weber 38 is an easy install if you got the time, and it widened my power band by 1k rpm. Im so thankful I got the 38 instead of the 32/36.
Label everything, take pictures, videos, and don’t forget the blue loctite on the studs for the carb.
Thanks for letting me know about the carb. I did all the headwork with a friend who used to be a mechanic. It runs great now, except the idle is all over the place, I need to tune the carb for now.
Hey man, what size tire is that? I was thinking about getting 15x7 diamond steelies, but they only come in 0 offset, but funnily enough I was also going to get some flares. I'm thinking 185/50r15 minimum and 195/55r15 max. 185s will give me a nice safe stretch and allow me to go a tad lower being narrower and shorter, but price is one of the biggest factors.
Also what size are your flares? They fit good.
