The weber only requires 3.5 psi, what would more psi do, beside feed more fuel?

that holley pump appears to be an EFI one

the extra fuel pressure isn't going to help you it was the flow and safe pressure I was looking at

I'm really interested in it POS Carb. I have the money so I just want to know some stuff first.

I assume it won't fit in the gas tank am I right?

Is it brand new?

Oh I guess this is an old old thread so I think I will just check at Jegs since it's doubtful he still has it.

yea JEGS.com actually I have a cheap autozone one now, I had a Holley Red but it was overkill for this car, I have it on the mustang with a mod spring for 20 psi
That carter pump is new and you'd probably have to mount it externally. My current pump setup looks like this....
PS the (0) is the plate on top of the tank that holds the stock unit

engine<------[pump]---(0)-[filter]-~~~~gas

the stock upmp was removed and replaced with a glass fuel filter and hoses (cut to the same length as the stock assembly) all mounted on the stock bracket. I disconnected the wires (please please please please do not connect wires to the lid if u have no pump in the tank) and cut the harness off, mounted some male and female speaker terminals to it and the pump, wired it, hung the pump in the location of the stock rear fuel filter, ran a hose from the lid down to the pump. Thats it.

ok let me get this straight. You removed the stock fuel pump and stock intank filter. And you replaced it with one of those clear fuel filters with a rubber fuel line going to the bottom of the tank? Did your gas gauge still work after you did this? I just don't think just a rubber fuel hose is gonna make a great gas pickup tube. Did you need to drop your tank to do this or can you do it all from that hole in the trunk area?

The gas gauge is located on a seperate cap on the passenger side of the tank.
