    SOLD-1978 Honda Accord Hatchback

SOLD-via eBay on November 3. Price reduced to $2000 or make an offer, we'd love to see it go to a good home with someone who appreciates funky old cars. Fun to drive, blast from the past classic. Starts right up and runs well. Body panels are straight and without accident damage. Some small dimples in the drivers front fender. See photos. Paint is in good condition except fading on the roof. Interior is in very good, nearly new condition except for driver seat which is worn and torn. Engine was rebuilt at 162k miles. Now has 171k miles. Have both original owners manual and official Honda shop manual. Transmission slips in first gear but it can be fixed and parts are available.

1.6 L in-line four-cylinder engine, 2-speed semiautomatic transmission (original Hondamatic, no clutch, just let up on the accelerator and shift)

Check out photos on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/264009144472

We've put quite a few new items on the car to freshen it up and keep it running well.

New parts within the last year:
    All four tires
Rear brake drums, shoes and cylinders
    Rear wheel bearings
    Fuel pump
    Oil change and filter
    Air filter
    Fuel filter
    Left front axle shaft
    Brake fluid flushed
    Exhaust line flex pipe
Carburetor needle, seats and gaskets replaced
    Carburetor cleaned, inspected and calibrated
    Fuel tank flushed and cleaned
    Both low beam headlights replaced

Sorry, tried to post pictures here but can't figure out how to do it or it may be that I'm a brand-new member with only 1 post. Anyway the car is located in Bothell, Washington. It's a suburb about 20 miles north-northeast of Seattle.
