How to get E-clip on plz

I just installed the accelerator jet and wrote down most of my jet sizes for my weber. But I can't seem to get that little E-clip back on. Is there an easier way to do this? I was thinking that I could use a needle nose pliers and expand it a little bit so it fits on and then squeeze it back to normal. Would this be an ok thing to do? My car is sitting out in the cold please help me out. Thanks

Well for anyone that needs to know how to get that little bugger on in the future. All you do is take a needle nose pliers and use that little knob for one end of the pliers and have the other end of the pliers pushing the clip onto the knob. And you can't spread it out either I tried and that thing is very strong.
