Is it worth the $$$ when it even says VTEC in the title for a A20A?

I have never asked or researched what a VTEC controler does, but doesn't it just activate the VTEC mechanism and nothing else?

no, it hooks up to the MAP sensor and the Vtec soilnoid so you can adjust fuel ratio and @ what point the car switches from low rpm cam to the high rpm cam!!!

if youre refering to the apex'i V-AFC, then yeah you can use the apex'i S-AFC to adjust your fuel curves... its the same as the VAFC, only for cars without vtec... i imagine the VAFC wouldnt even work right...

pretty spendy though... your money is probably better spent on a cam or some other fun goody

The VTEC controller controls the basic engine management.. You can also program your VTEC lower and your Turbo's management (at least my friends can)

But if you are adjusting your fuel curves wouldn't you [for your best interest] have to buy a A/F Ratio Gauge as well?
