Question Where do I find NOS ???

    NITROUS OXIDE SYSTEMS

My charge of oxide just vanished after 1 race. It was the NOS mark. Where do I can find a Venom kit, second hand, full ?
How many "push of a button" could take a new charge ?

What size bottel do you have? How long was the race ( time wise)?

Well I guess to answer your question thier is like 3 or 4 places here in B'ham but of course you live on the other side of the world so I can't help you. Except maybe the place you bought the NOS sys. from or a dentist office hehehe.

My car was approved for a 20 shot bottle. It was like $450 installed. But, I would rather be fast with an all motor car. Can out engines handle NOS? Just wondering if this store was BSing me.

What do you mean your car was aproved for a 20 shot bottle? I think you are asking "Can our engines handle NOS?" Yes. dhcarss is running a 65 shot with a 10lb. bottle with no problems.

The guy said that with my engine I could only go with a 20 shot bottle. I don't know what kind we could use on our engines (dry or wet). How much of a boost in hp does it give?

I run a 75 wet shot no problem 10lb bottle but it really holds 11lb's.These engines are bullit proof don't be scared to run a liitle nos a 10lb bottle will give you about 2 minutes of spraying. But if you think about it you never really race for more then 10-15 seconds.

Do you know how much hp it boosts you? How much did it cost you? Could this possibly blow the engine? Is it hard to install with a carb?

I guess I don't quite understand why the hp gains are different. Isn't a shot a shot? Or can you hold the shot longer? And is that 1K US$?

that is 1k canadian and nos is not like f&f you flip the toggo switch and then it sprays when you are at full throttle. So you could spray as long as you want but I would not spray longer then 15 seconds.

When do you normally press it? (what gear) Do you shift up after you press it? I'm curious b/c if I don't feel I like the hp gains after my cam regrind i'm going to get a nos kit of some kind. (like if I'm still getting beat by civics)

You can hit it when ever you feel you need it if I'am going to race a stang or something like that I flip the swich before I even leave the line so I have a better chance those v8's are tuff but civic's and things like that are a wast of gas.If you get a kit just make sure you run a wet one it is much safer.I personly like nx I had a nos one before and was not so happy with it but it's all someone's personal opion.

Well I have no idea what cold plugs are and I don't know how to retard my timing I think i'll have a pro install the kit (whatever I get) I was quoted for a 25shot bottle of nos and kit for $450 installed. I have heard bad stuff about NOS brand so i'm either going with Venom, Zex, NX.

    Exclamation Venom is best

    hello there

The Venom mark is the best and the most advanced in this technology. But the price is just like it's quality. A nitrous kit from Venom cost at least 1000 $. So... In my country, I don't even find the NOS kit, wich is less expensive. Someone said that the NOS could harm your engine. If you'll use it more than a few seconds, it will. The engine will sound like it is at 12000rpm. So, be carefoul ! ! ! !
