    Greg,

From what I have read on the board you can do a B18 and maybe even a B16 Swap but you will need special Motor mounts, ECU, harness and Axles just to name a few extra parts. The motor mount kit plus other parts, i believe sells for almost $1700, so do you really want to dump $3 to 4 GRAND into a 2000 dollar car????? just to try to beat a 35,000 dollar S2000 that was built to perform in the first place... There is the JDM B20 engine that just bolts right into our accords with 160 HP but even that won't stand a chance against the S2000. But it is the cheaper and easier engine swap. I would say sell your 3G and invest that money plus what you would have spent on an engine swap and buy an older Mitsu eclipse turbo and work on it to beat that guy...

first of all turfnsurf is a jackass, dont read his posts. I want you to show me where it cost you 1700 bucks for mounts, whoever told you that knew you were a dipshit from the beginning. I was talkin to the guy at placeracing and I asked him how much the mounts were for a b16 and he told me "We make that kit and it retails for $643.55 and is in stock now." not no 1700 bucks. but then again if you wanna be a little ricer follower go and get a red '92 hatch and put a b16 in it like all the kids on your block are doin.

s2000 do 0-60 in less than 6 seconds na eclipses are in the sevens easy or 8 with an auto and standard driver it should have been no contest.

the mounts are $643, but after you buy all the parts you need for the swap like the axles, shift rods, wire harness, and any of miscellaneous brackets you are looking at around 1500-1700.

As far what turfnsurf said... It is all what you want. If you think the car isnt worth it dont do that stuff, but not everyone thinks like that. I think my car is worth it and I see the look on the face of the guy I just beat it will be even better.

well...88lxi68...my car looks ten times worse than yours...so what do you think the lil dumb@$$ in the s2000 will think when i smoke his @$$??? but i would love to spend a lil bit money to smoke a 40000 dollor car (but it would be mine if i smoke him) keep in mind that my car has been gutted too (dash, steering wheel, gas, brake, and clutch pedels,shifter,e-brake handle, and 2 fiberglass racing buckets are all thats in my car) so i know i'm lighter than a s2000...by a WHOLE LOT

    SiCRex,

Not that I need to justify my response to Greg but, before you go shooting your mouth off about someone else's knowledge. YOU better know WTF you're talking about... I know what PlaceRacing mounts cost, and I know they have to be installed. Like 88LXi said, there is more to swaping an engine into our cars then just mounts. You don't just put a set of mounts under your pillow and wait for the motor mount fairy to install them for you. So do us all a favor shove your head back up your ass and keep looking for some brains. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while so maybe you get lucky too..
