    Euro tails

i have an 88lxi 4dr. is it possible to put the euro accord 4dr tails on our cars, or does the large space for the place prevent them from being the same size?

i dont think your taillights have are switchable or close to other cars that have euro tails. I think only the hatchback can take the 90 accords with little modifications

damn, the level of stupidity in this thread seems to be at an all time high. 88accordlxi--> You asked a good question, and that deserves a good answer.

I'm not gonna attack anyone who's posted in reply to this, I'll just answer the question with what I've found to be true. I have'nt done this conversion myself, b/c I don't have a 4dr, but I've read much about it.

The 4dr tails from a euro 3G WILL fit on a US 3G. All you have to do is get the full set of tails including the center section which also houses the license plate. There's actually a member (shepherd79) that bought the tails off gr3k0sLaV from his 4dr and put them on his car, and they look great. I wish you luck in your project.

I must now back up my statement with this link...

    https://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4249

Actually, if you're looking for a set, PM AerodeckUK about 'em, I'm not sure if he still has the set that he was selling a few months back, but he might be able to find 'em for you.

Edit** Just thought of another member that might be able to locate you a set. He's actually a moderator too, Accord EX.

LOL! Seriously man, no worries. No apologies needed, everyone's allowed to screw up once. ONCE! got it!?!? So DON'T do it again!

LOL. j/k man... it's all good. I just don't want to mislead this guy, or prevent him from a fairly cool mod.

Oh hell yeah, now I remember. Do you remember that I was the one with the hatch and the other custom clear corners...?

How's that little see-dan coming along? Let's see some interior pics if you've continuted with the paint. If I remember correctly it was in progress, but looking pretty sweet. Hell yeah, I could see a set of JDM's on that car. ...But I can see a set of custom red/clears for tails as well since you already got that clear lens theme going.

I think the Euro tails only fit the 86-87 models with smaller brake lights!
