You're the first I've seen to have altezzas on a 3G Accord. Even though I'm not an altezza person, I still give you props for it. Nice job and clean car you got.
Eh, need to lose the altezzas, The interior is the only thing that I think is decent on the car, other then the paint![]()
That is a badass looking car. Are you going to put a spoiler on it at all? I think it would go good with the shaved trunk.
Anyway, damn good job!

WHERE THE HELL IS CHRIS?!?!? Hey Pearl, I'm dying to hear your reaction to this car.
Ryan, I think it's great. It's about time we see some more full-custom work. I'm gonna have to agree with Mike on this one though, I just think the altezzas look out of place on that ass. But I think that just a stock 4G light would also look funny. Maybe another style of aftermarket light would be more to my liking. Either way, it's your car, so it's what you like. Overall, one of the best here.

man, that's a sweet ass ride. i personally like the tails, though maybe other clears would look good too. great paint, love the interior, got the ghost shapes in the interior, sweet. that is in my top favs for 3g's. good job man.

clean, not my style but clean none the less

Pheonix Red CA6 -- Sold
Grey ED6 -- current project
I think that car is awesome.
I don't think the cardinal red goes with the exterior paint, it would look better all one color in the interior, but that is an awesome job laying the tweed on the dash and door panels. Getting it down in that dash pocket is not easy work.
Like I told you before I think you should have reshaped the trunk a little at the bottom corners so it came straight down instead of the zig zag it has but that really isn't bad, just something I would have done if it were my car. It is really easy to analyze somebody elses car so don't take it the wrong way.
Overall I think this car is almost perfect. Are you going to the Magical Minis show on June 28? I should be there. (I almost hope you aren't because we will be in the same class).
yeah thanks a lot you guys, its really reassuring when you get replies like these. But yeah pearl, i was thinking that after i painted it, that i should have just made it straight down, actually it would have been easier. But i dont know about the show, i really wanted to show it, that was my plan, but im not finished with it yet. But i plan on showing it, hopefully really soon. But when i do finish it then i am going to show it for sure. and i tried matching the cardinal tweed with my color. It was as close as i could find to my paint color. But thanks anyways guys. really appreciat the replys

First I would like to say awesome car. I love the interior. I'm getting ready to start on mine today. Are you doing the seats yourself? hand stitch or sewing machine? Did you use a kit for the door? I really like those designs. Anyways get back to me if you could...........Also anyone else who did custom interior please get at me I'm looking for all the hints and tips I can get.
Thanx
yeah, actually my girlfriends mom is doing the seats, shes going to use a sewing maching, and the door i did myself. I took all the stuff off of the panel and then cut out a new one without all the holes. I cut it out of masonite. Laminated on one side. But then fiberglassed the pod and used foam for the raised graphics.

you can buy tweed i think at any upholstery shop. I think i paid like 13 dollars a yard. And i had to order 14 yards, but that wasnt enough, i ran out of tan for my seats, so i have to order more. but you also have to buy glue for it too. Good glue or else it will come up. The glue i bought is a contact cement. Its sprayable through a pot gun. It cost me about 15 dollars for a gallon. Its really not that hard, just the dash took me about 2 days to do. very very time consuming.

Hmm... I used to have a friend that did car interiors just haven't talked to him for awhile maybe I should hang out with him again and we could do my car with tweed. Maybe someone should do the interior of their car with Rayonj/k What other fabrics would be good for the interior? (cheaper but still nice)
hey ryan about how much yards of tweed did you use for the dash

Mike, another cheap alternative that you "could" use would be duckcloth. That's what I did my dash insert with and it came out alright. It's the same idea as tweed, but a much lighter weight. It's also a little stiffer then tweed too, but it's workable. I would not suggest it for seats or floor, but for dash and door panels it would look ok and should hold up pretty well.
PS.. You can find that at any local fabric store. It is cheaper then tweed; probably around 5-8 bux a yd.
-Mark D.
You can buy tweed at just a regular fabric store?
