    Angry Houston.....I have a problem

I think my car is running funny....I don't think I'm just being paranoid....When I accelerate, my RPM's seem to be higher than normal at slower speeds. And I almost redlined in 5th that's never happened before...not like this anyway....any ideas??......I hope it's not to serious......i'm broke these days ya know?

    Thanx all

If your car is 5-speed your clutch is about to completely fail. Don't drive it again unless you need to move it to where you're going to replace the clutch.

Sounds like a bad clutch, pop the hood and try to ajust your clutch. To do this follow clutch cable and were it meets the tranny, there is a knob turn it clockwise a couple of turns and then try the release point of cluth and keep on doing until release pt is low not high.

I dont know but it may just be your tack I had this problem where my tack was going to redline faster than my moter was. does your engine sound the same when your tack skyrockets or does your moter rev up with your tack and your speed stays the same.
