NEED REAL CARB HELP. CAR CUT OFF. NEED HELP FAST.

This is my problem. First my carburetor choke would not open. I clean it with the carb cleaner. I oil the choke so it would open freely. It was run all good for a week.

Then, when I start the car it will run at fast idle I normal rev the engine to stop the fast idle. When I do it now it just takes time to die. I look at the choke and it seem it do not want to close, it is fully open. I cannot figure it out. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? AND WHAT IS THE PRICE OF NORMAL WEBER.

I don't have the real solution to your problem but I hope this might help a bit

Did you also spray the choke linkage and the fast idle unloader lingage cause these do tend to get stuck. I had a similar problem where the choke would not open fully when the engine temperature reached it's normal operating temperature. (fan came on)
You could also have a vaccum leak check your hoses. When you took the air cleaner housing off and put it back on, did you connect everything back the way it was..exactly?

    P.S.

I know right now that it's freeking really cold out and if you don't let the carb warm up then the engine will flood or die or carb might freeze and then your gonna half to wait like 10-15 mins then try to start it up again. Do let the fast idle do it's thing that's why carbs need that fast idle for.
