    left or right threads?

    are the mounting bolts on the brake calipers left or right hand threads? (89 accord lxi)

    do you mean the direction of unbolting ? if so mine were normal ( loosen counter clock wise ) ( mine is EX 87 )

    The Honda manual makes no notes about left-handed threads, but I haven't had to pull a caliper myself. The only left-handed threads that I can think of off the top of my head are the bolts that hold together the differential.

    yah, thats what i mean. Left or right handed threads. mine didn't budge when i tried the ccw way.

    RH threaded like normal. PB Blast that sucker down.

    i used a wrench and a 50 cm pipe to get that SOB loose !
