    Wink idle troubles


    from gran canaria (canary islands)
    hello guys I have 88 accord engine b20a2, when the engine is hot the idle increase sometimes about 1500 rpm, and after is coming down 1000/950rpm.

    help me pls

    Hmm...aside from me saying "take that engine out and I'll trade you" I really wouldn't know as you have the DOHC PGM-Fi motor that we all really want.

    thankyou friend
    i have got this car six month ago and repair (myself) the cylinderhead becouse broken timming belt and blent valves. but now is running again in good condittion, except idle .

    May need to start with the basic lowering of the idle mixture screw, the screw right above the throttle body. No check engine lights are on?

    just now idle icrease to 2000 / 2300rpm when the engine is hot,
    up the irons

    i can not fix the idle, sometimes is 900 rpm sometimes increase to 2300 rpm very quicly
    up the irons

    if idle jumps up and down that hight, you may have some problems with one of your sensors.
    i don't know how to check on B20 but look under the driver seat and see if you can find ECU with blinking light (my luck it won't be there).

    i checked ecu and blink 7 times, t/a/s remove swich and clean,now the idle is ok no jumping.
