VHT nite shades can't be shipped?

I have talked to two people online in regaurds to buying some nite shades taillight spray. Both people told me that it can't be shipped because it is highly flammable. Has anyone ran into this problem when buying it? If not where did you get yours?

It probably falls under the same rules as perfume and aerosole paint. They are considered flammable and/or explosive and can't be shipped (atleast by air). VHT is a pretty big company so there must be a local auto store that carries their stuff. Have you tried phoning all the ones by your place?

you can order VHT night shades from summit racing. That's where i got mine last week. It IS highly flammable becuz the smell is unbarrable. They will charge you about $3 extra just to ship that particular product.

I would reccomend VHT window tint spray over the Niteshades. The window tint goes on very nicely in thin coats and is very easy to get the shade you like. The Niteshades is more thicker and one too many coats will make it too black. Plus it won't come off after you put it on.

The nightshades comes off, but not without being a pain in the ass. Acetone, sandpaper, and a rag will do the trick, but if you spray lightly, you shouldn't run into problems. Yasu is right tho, its very thick, and sprays out heavy.

Here's a pic of it. I still have a can left over from like 5 years ago LOL. I saw it at the auto store the other day and it still looks the same. The part number was SP-171.

If you give it enough coats, it will turn black. Never did my windows with it though so I can't really reccomend or not reccomend it.

So the stuff is actually made to tine windows? Does it get applied to the inside or the outside of the window? If it's meant to be applied to the inside of the window, doesn't that mean that it may not be very resistance to thing like stones flying up and chipping away at it? Just curious. If it works well I'll have to pick up a can an do my windows with it. Does anyone know if this stuff fades to purple if it's exposed to sunlight for extended periods of time?
