hey, I was trying to hook up a cd player in my 89 accord dx, but the guy that had it before me ripped out half the wiring when he took the factory radio out...... If anyone knows where I can get some help, lemme know. All I really need is a hot wire controlled by ignition.
That's kinda funny. I can't help you but maybe somebody else will.

you can get that from the ignition harness. You can use either the ignition wire, which is black/yellow, or you can use the accessory wire, which is yellow/red. I think... Just test them. The ignition wire will be 12v when you turn it on and while starting, the accessory wire will not have 12v when the car is starting. Hope this helps. Anymore questions just ask.
