    car wont start

    my sister has a 90 accord and it wont start...its a 5-speed and when ya turn the key nothin happens...ive checked all fuses and battery connections...and the other day i had to kick start um...i not sure but i think its the starter....and suggestions on what the problem can be?

    You try to jump start the car? If so, what happened when you tried to jump it?

    try changing out the battery and see what happens.

    did any of the dash or warning lights come on?

    all of the dash lights come on...we tried jumpstarting it...and i dont think its the battery...e changed all of the ground wired directly comming out of the battery....i think its the starter or the solinoid

    Maybe the clutch sensor or the ignition switch. Electrical stuff is difficult to pinpoint.

    Your starter is gone, simple as that. Its easy and about $80-$100 later, your on your way.

    Its the solonoid on your starter, there is a bendix ppring insiedt that runns on a copper plate, when the copper plabe starts to get coroded tthe power transfer from the bendix to teh drive motor has more resiance, untill you dont have enough power to turn the starter motor. Replace the starter and it will be taken care of.

    b4 i came here again i looked and a ground strap broke.. i just went to the stereo store and got a few feet of 2 guage cable... and soem conectors... i will have the best ground in town!

    You can still start the car even if the started just clicks

    YOU PUSH IT .. or take a hammer and kcik the shit out of the started twice and it will start turning

    we tested the starter and its ok...i think its the ignition switch

    my dad says when you turn the key the ingnition control makes a clickin noise....
