    Rear assembly around licence plate

So this may seem like an odd question. I'm not sure where to find random exterior parts. Anyone have some success with this? Junk yards in the Oklahoma area don't tend to have 3Gen Accord Hatchbacks sitting around either.

Specifically, I'm looking for what's called the Light Assembly, License, Part Number 34100-SE0-A11

The plastic on mine is very brittle - I bought the car a year ago and there was a puncture in it. Recently, while cleaning the car the other day the bottom piece clean broke. Truly it mars what is otherwise a like-new exterior.

Any ideas? There seem to be some scam operations out there claim to sell parts - but I'm a little nervous to engage with a website that has broken English all over it.

Ive got a corner broke on mine too and I can't decide whether to put my 89 tails in my 87 sedan or not, and the center tails are different widths, so can't just swap the license plate trim.
You are going to have to find a car on car-part.com, ebay, or post in the wtb section on this forum. It won't be easy to find.

I think I have the part you're looking for... I don't know the part number, but it's the outside plastic from around the license plate, from a 1987 Honda Accord LXi hatchback, in good condition but used so possibly brittle as well. Let me know if you want to buy it.

I've also been looking for the same part (plastic trim around license plate). But for my '89 coupe.

If anyone has one they'd be willing to sell, I'd be very interested.

Here is the part I have. I only just now noticed that the screw mounts are cracked on one side, that's a shame. Let me know if anyone is interested:

All the couple owners are looking for that piece (and not finding it).

Is my part not the right one or is it too broken? It came from a car where it was good, but I suppose it was broken in removal...

They haven't held up well with time and are all broken now. Mine is in the best shape I've seen but it's still cracking. I pulled it off and reinforced some areas with epoxy a couple years ago and that has worked really well. Put it on the back side where it will be hidden from sight and UV exposure.
