    Identify this wire

Hi I was recently changing out my oil filter base gasket and came across this wire unplugged. Does anyone have any idea what it goes to? I can't seem to find where it would plug into

You can see the photo if you copy and paste the link.

With the picture you showed me it looks after market...in line fuse , plug end looks non standard Honda and ground ring. No real guess what it could be for. Sorry.

Yeah, that's something someone added in. No clue what it could be for. At least they did a decent job.

What is that entire harness for? Its been added to the interior, so you can follow it that way, but that one wire just goes straight from plug-fuse-ring... I would assume the ring is for a ground but ummm you normally don't fuse a ground. I guess it still prevents overcurrent, but doesn't protect it from shorts.

    Re: Identify this wire

Thank you everyone for your help. I will trace it down into the cabin sometime soon. It's probably a aftermarket alarm because I noticed it has a switch built into the dash. I'm excited to own one of these along with my 92 Honda Accord wagon EX It will be put on the road in a month or so after I finish the rest of the repairs. Here's a picture of it
