Distributor shaft o ring vs distributor mounting o ring...different or same ?

Hi guys,

So I'm on the napa auto site right now and in need of a new distributor o ring. I have an 86 lx-i with the A20A3 engine. When I look on napa they're giving me a "distributor mounting o ring" and a "distributor shaft o ring". Are there any differences between the 2 items?? They have different info though that's about it

Different gaskets . As stated, one goes onto the shaft itself, the other one where the dizzy mounts to the engine.

Actually, those look like the same thing. The distributor shaft seal is not an o ring, it seals the distributor internally, but the mounting seal, as I guess you would call it, that seals oil from the outside of the head is an o ring. You might ought to compare them.

Should probably just buy both then huh, in case I need the other one too
