    Swapping wheels?

I have an 88 LX. Can I put LX-I wheels (14") on my car with no problem? I would like to get the car repainted (black, its white now), and I like the look of the bigger wheels (but don’t want to spend 400$ on rims). Any problems? Will I have to recalibrate my speed-o?

And i put this in the wrong forum. My bad!

no prob with the swap... you wont see much of a difference in size with 14's... it might be best to get some GSR or DEL SOL or SIR wheels

yeah i was thinking of getting some 14 inch steelies and put a beauty ring on them. kinda a cheap stealth look. i'll prob try the j/y this spring and just re-paint em. i'd like to get em as cheap as possible cuz even the walmart ones would be $400 all said and done with tires. that's a lot of money to roll with steelies IMO
