ok...once my accord start to warm up to normal temperature, press the throttle nothing happened ..it just idle...but slowly creep up at rpm...engage gear car just creep slow..too slow....clean the throttle body with carb cleaner walla problem solve but only for few minutes...it happened again....idling is steady at 900 rpm...despite pressing all the way down nothing but surely slowly give some response.... before i start fiddling anything can anybody share some thoughts?...tq in advance....

I wanted to know if the revs still hang when you open the throttle by hand. You are going to want to do something about the iacv. Idk how difficult it will to be to find a gasket, or if you can make it, but take it off and clean it.

ok...here the thing....it WAS the iacv ...all this while while flooring it the ac was on hence the no response or no power ...switch it off the car behave normally...well after open up the iacv..clean it...still same ..guess it went kaput...try getting a new ones is a task so getting from a used parts shop here...still searching...
about the gasket ill just buy it off the parts store and cut it to shape....Click image for larger version.

Unless its a 2 wire iacv it probably wont work, that and I've never heard of anyone doing that, I hope it works out

the old iacv remain, so are the socket and bottom hose, though the engine check light do come up if i were to go over 140km/h but gone once i restart the car back...as u can see in the picture the hoses are redirect to the new toyota ficd...some minor wiring magic and it work just fine...here in my part of the world where old cars that their original iacv fail...the mechanic just bypass them using toyota ficd or any brand (cheap!!) its simple to modified them as they told me rather then getting a used part or new one that might cost a bomb...
