I know how you feel man. In 2009 or so i started the carb to EFI swap and auto to manual conversion and thought it would take a month. Well life got busy, we had a fixer upper house that needed everything, i was starting a family and a business so the accord sat for about 8 years completely taken apart. I only got to work on it a few days out of each year but eventually got it back together and working. Its been my daily for a couple years now The accord will still be your friend and be patient, the only thing that wont be patient is the gas with ethanol nowdays, if its going to sit for more than 4 months id put stabilizer in it or something.

    Good luck on everything.

Finally got to show her some love today.
Power failure at work resulting in me getting the day off and I got to visit the only dedicated import salvage yard in my area (it's only 50 miles away) for the first time today.
They actually have an 89 LXi coupe! And it's nearly complete!

    Here's a pic:

Snagged the intake pipe (from fender to filter box) that was missing from mine.
Will be back for the passenger rear window, trim and hardware.
On the way home I picked up the last of the little coolant lines I needed from Autozone ($60 for 4 little hoses! ).
Got home and replaced the old rotten ones. Now it's got all new coolant lines and all new seals.
I started putting the alternator back on - mainly to be sure I had all the hardware. I don't.
Found I'm missing the top (adjusting) bolt for the alternator.
Thanks to my trip to the salvage yard this morning I know where to get a replacement.
I just might grab that spoiler too.
In fact I might see if I can talk them out of the whole car.
Just glad to be making progress again and have a parts source.
    are we having fun yet?
