Is my CV axle boot bad?

I’ve got a manual fwd 1987 accord, right now I am trying to remove the CV axles so that I can drop the transmission. That is when I noticed this boot on the passenger side. Is this boot bad, if so how do I replace it? Do I order a new boot or CV axle? Or do I just re-clamp it and put some new boot grease in it or something? Thanks in advance!!

If the boots not ripped or anything like that i would just put a new clamp on it and keep and eye on it.

Update: I’m further into removing my transmission, and I am starting to lose hope that I am able to do all of this. I have a service manual, but I feel like it uses different terms then what I’ve originally learned on. The biggest problem for me right now is figuring out the right brackets and bolts to free up the transmission. I can’t figure out how to reach those bolts behind the the different hoses, it also doesn’t help that you are near impossible to break the bolts. Can I maybe get an experienced persons phone number who has lowered their transmission? It would be a massive help.

Since it your first time I would remove things that are in the way to help you see what your doing. Remove the thermostat housing, starter etc. I think this will help with your frustration.

Ill hunt around for some videos of the trans removal.

I know it can be frustrating since people "say" they can do it in X amount of time etc. Dont worry about that.
