Hey all, have an automatic transmission question for you guru's. Having a shuddering issue when trans tries to shift between 1 and 2nd. After it hits second gear it's just fine and shifts normally. No weird smell from the fluid. Haven't done a filter and fluid change yet, but I'm thinking clutch and pressure plate. Any ideas? Car has 214k miles on it.
Check your fluid level first.

fluid level is good.
Probably some damage in the valve body then. There are only really 3 things you can do with these autos.
1. Do a flush and hope for the best
2. Play with the TV cable adjustment
3. Rebuild it
