Carburetor gas tank are available new.

There are some chemical treatments you can use or look into electrolysis using soap power and a battery charger.

    Re: Rusty fuel tank

Well, you being from Lithuania, I don't know the parts supply situation where you live.

However, there are several options available to you, depending on your budget of course.

Where I live, radiator repair shops usually also repair motorcycle and vintage cars fuel tanks. The price isn't cheap but it's not too expensive either. When no new fuel tank is available, this is a nice option. They will remove the rust with special chemicals and coat the inside of the fuel tank with an epoxy coating what will withstand gasoline.

You can buy a fuel tank rebuild kit online and do it yourself. This should in theory be much cheaper.
This one comes to mind: https://caswellplating.com/epoxy-gas-tank-sealer.html

It all depends on the condition of your current tank. If it's really rusty and is beyond repair, you can always get a good used one online.
