My 89 is having transmission issues I think the car was revving up, and then it stopped switching into gear. It slipped into gear just enough for about 5 seconds of driving then it slipped out. I'm not a car person and have no ideas what todo. Need some advice as to what the problem could be. Had a neighbor mechanic check it out and doing research on how to help aswell.
