    Hesitant acceleration?

Alright so It's most likely something simple and quick, but it seems sometimes when I try to pull out in traffic, my car hesitates realy bad, and then it just wants to chug along until I get it to like 3000+ rpm.. I can have my foot to the ground and it won't barely move.. Then, it'll idle really low during this all if I come to a stop, then somewhere along the lines, it stalls out and it runs smooth again for like err a day I guess (it's only happened a few times now).. Maybe a fuel filter? It's an automatic if that helps but meh..

Your profile says you own an 87 lxi 5 speed, another post an 89 dx, another post an 84 accord. I'm a little confused unless you own like 3 or 4 oldschool Hondas in which case more power to ya.
