    Jordans Accord

Hello everyone! I知 a new 3geez owner and I love it a lot I have a whole bull for it already but I have one issue going on right now. The car is sadly overheating quick and I知 not sure exactly what it is. There is also a bit of white smoke coming from the valve cover and I知 not sure if it痴 the gasket or not. Any advice?

    Hi welcome to the forums.

I would take a look at the oil and the coolant there is a good chance the head gasket is blown.

The white smoke is probably burning oil, most on here had to replace the valve cover gasket as it gets hard and leaks onto the exhaust manifold causing white smoke.

Overheating. If you just got it, i would flush the coolant and change the thermostat. Make sure to bleed the air out of the system when you refill it.

Ok thanks so much. Also the rpms go up and down when the car is in neutral what would that mean?

Tackle one issue at a time. I'd start with the overheating.

I'm going with this, it sounds like your headgasket seppuku'd itself.
