    Talking

Well Nate has a sticker worth about 54 hp .........

i dont know how long youve been on the board but nates banned..currently...heh..but youll meet him soon enough.

first off you could always drop a B series in there...but if u just wanna tool with your A20.....

Webber carb, maybe hood scoop to increase flow, or short ram air intake on stock carb (not as good as webber) with hood scoop, or CAI (cold air intake)....Headers, 2.25' piping, high flow cat, and high flow performance muffler...
Could always replace your pistons with stock LXi pistons or..better alternative...aftermarket pistons and run nitros oxide into it.....

If you have some delusions of going after your friends 150 hp civic and think hp is the answer to a win...and your looking for speed...also do some weight reduction....welcome to the board...

A pair of dcoes are the only way you're going to get close to that with out fuel injection. Do a search for DCOE or dcoe conversion for slightly less reading. Just about any quesition you could have has already been answered twice.

For nitros on carbs---its what the majority of domestic muscle cars have...you jsut run it the same way...i would NOT suggest it on a stock accord carb though....you could but i would say go webber first. Someone on the baord has a completely different carb in their car..i forget what..but its not stock accord and its not webber or edlebrock or one of the aftermarkets.....

Put lots of money into it. By this, I don't mean hide cash under the hood. I mean buy lots of custom parts for it. Noticed how I said "custom" and not "aftermarket?"

well.. stickers are expensive... i once had to pay 8 dollars to get a 50 HP sticker... have u heard that new designs wont have CARB EO stickers.. they are emiting too much smog! ricers are saying its the weeeeed they are high on when they race like Indy drivers... they also have come out with boost control stickers.. you just display the number on the doors of the car and yyou will run that much boost... there has been alot of 69 psi cars around here.. i just dont get it?!?!?!

Start with headers exhaust highflow cat then go to a cam regrind I like colt cams a lot (ask yk86) then go to DCOE carbs do a search like Phydeaux said you should be getting close then after that go to high comp pistons msd ignition ported head ect.

who cares about horsepower numbers? you can be alot faster than cars with more horsepower than u if u have a better power to weight ratio.

I was about to say... WEIGHT reduction first off.

Tune the carb to put more fuel in and get some sort of ram air for your carb. More air + more fuel = more power.

Get your camshaft reground to a more aggressive spec.

Regrind your valves to allow better moving of intake and exhaust

Headers so your shit can shit better

Bigger pistons with a bored block so with the more volume you can cram more air and more fuel in there again.

Lightened crank/flywheel/cam gear because those bitches are dead weight and put strain on the engine.

    Free flow exhaust

Cut your power steering belt so the engine doesn't have to waste power on turning the pump.

I should be pretty close to that 160hp then. (after I buy the camshaft of course) I'm buying the rest of my jets for my weber today and going to honda to purchase a new throttle cable. I'm getting the camshaft when my tax return gets here. I've been in Mexico for the past ten days so I haven't been on here for awhile. (seems like years though)

Sweet... Well I'm going to jet the carb right now with:

    Primarys:
    Main:150
    Air Cor:180

    Secondary:
    Main: 160
    Air Cor: 175
    Idle: 055

And I have the pump jet in already ( 060 )

I'll probably have to re-jet it again when I get my cam and I guess I'll have to find out what to jet it then.

I am not too sure about 160 out of that because with my mods

    triflow cam
    4-2-1 header
    dynomax exhaust
    highflow cat
    msd 6al blaster 2 coil
    magencor wires
    iridium plugs
    ajustiable fpr
    bomz cai
    modified secondary butterflys
    magnetic fuel lines
    max timing advance
and centerforce df on a full tranny rebuild.
I would guess I have only gone from 122 to 145 ish
