I’ve got a 88 Honda accord with the a20a2 I believe that’s the carbed version of the 2.0l a series vacuum mess. I bought the car from a short man who originally wanted 2200 for it. I ended up with the car for 1200 and I still believe I paid too much for the car. It’s really a beautiful sight. I’ve done badlands like repairs to the engine. The black box in the corner of the engine bay on the passenger side you know the one with all the sucky tentacles coming out of it sprawled throughout the engine? Diaphragms and all? Gone!! I put a 38d carburetor I got from a 1.3l Suzuki samurai so it should run I just have to adapt it to the intake which I used the existing Honda adapter made my own off of a template I made I used a piece of industrial plastic or something. Underneath the Edelbrock filter looks like the stem on a nuclear explosion all the layers. I got the idea originally from this website from one of the OGs and it works my car runs and drives with some issues I need address. Cheers!

A20A2 is the version of the A1 with no smog controls only used in SE Asia and I think a few parts of Europe......
