Ignition control solenoid

Hey guys first time posting hoping yall can help me out. I got a 1987 Honda accord LX-I it’s been stalling out and the PGM-FI will come out on at high rpm’s. Did a smoke test on it besides some O-rings and hoses leaking. There’s also a leak coming from the control box looked at it and I’m guessing it’s the ignition control solenoid valve. Added a picture of it it’s the one with the electric connectors and filter at the bottom. Mine question is should it be venting out anything? And would I have to replace it?

I would look and see what the code is. Wild guess its EGR. One of the parts you are pointing to has to do with EGR.

I have no idea what ignition control solenoid is. Remember this is an OBD0 car not OBD2.
