The headlights turn on but do not turn off, please help.

I have a 1988 model accord. I converted my vehicle from digital to analog dial. everything is in working order.

I turn on my headlights, they go up, but when I turn them off, they don't come back down.
I thought the button might be faulty, but when I checked the button, I saw that it was working.

After lowering the headlights manually, I removed the button, turned on the headlights from the signal lever and the headlights turned on. what's the problem ? help please.:uh2:

Sounds like an issue with the headlight control unit box or the wires to it, Id also check the ground wire coming from the box as well.
