    Badass electrical problem

    I'm redoing this post...

What would cause the dash lights to become illuminated and the lights-left-on chimer to go off when engaging the brake pedal? I swapped the brake light switch to see what would happen and nothing changed. Additionally, if you have the headlights on from the headlight switch and move them to off with the brake pedal pressed, the bulbs turn off but the assemblies stay up. Releasing the brake pedal allows them to lower normally.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I would think about replacing the ignition switch. One of the contacts could be bad.

    Lol...
Today the car decided to quit acting up and everything is normal now... If it acts up again I'll look into that. Thanks Blue
