    Anybody install bushings in this Bad Boy?

    Upper Torque Mount - Front bushing has rotted out, so Im going to attempt to replace them both.

    Can you find it new any place.?

    Just fill it with silicone or windshield sealant or something

    Yep, decided to buy the rubber bushings instead.

    Yeah, thats a possibility. Luckily the complete part is still available AND the rubber bushings..... Just thought Id ask if anybody else had tackled this one yet. I imagine it will be pound the old ones out, lube up the new ones & pound them in &

    If your asking what I think your asking I would not go with any kinda of solid bushing on this one no matter what the Facebooks says.

    We might go with that route in this incoming Accord LXI project. Have to clear the garage first before we can take a closer look. The new calipers and motiv wheels for the truck showed up so we might take the Accord in this weekend.

    I did the silicon thing when I replaced my 89 Preludes motor mounts.

    Received the bushings..... they are solid rubber, no room for silicon anywhere... I think is is going to be pretty straight forward, perhaps a floor jack under the car to help align the final torque bolt.
